Wonderful news everyone, Apple has approved Cobook 1.0 and it’s available via Mac App Store now. What’s even better - it’s FREE.

Note: If you have Cobook Beta already installed, you will need to delete it before the App Store version can be installed. The data will stay intact.

Why free?

The answer is very simple - we want to make contact management enjoyable for everyone. There really is no hidden agenda, we don’t collect your data or do anything else suspicious. However we will be releasing additional paid features for businesses and power users soon.

Shifting Gears

We started building Cobook a year ago and so far it has been bootstraped. Based on the incredible reception we decided to speed things up a bit. Today we’re glad to announce that Cobook is joining HackFwd, Europe’s best startup accelerator.

We’re already working on the next Cobook update which will bring solid & reliable Google Contact sync, Xing integration and more. Stay tuned, it’s coming soon!
